The audience loved the Vivaldi ‘Gloria’ and the extraordinary ‘Jubilate Deo’ by young American composer Dan Forrest. The St. Patrick’s Church was filled to capacity, and the choir received a spontaneous standing ovation at the end.

Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo brings to life the global aspect of the traditional Psalm 100 text, “O be joyful in the Lord, all ye lands,” by setting it in seven different languages and drawing from a wide spectrum of musical influences.

Vivaldi’s Gloria is one of sacred music’s most uplifting choral works, much loved by choral singers all over the world.
