Brahms’ German Requiem is one of the most powerful and moving works in the choral repertoire. Written to comfort the living rather than mourn the dead, it combines rich choral sound, beautiful melodies, and moments of great emotional depth.
Performed by our Wicklow Choral Society with soloists Owen Gilhooly-Miles and Aoife O’Connell, plus full orchestra with the Merrion Ensemble led by Anthony Mullholland, this promises to be a truly unforgettable concert.
